<reference>40 ILCS 5/14-104</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 14-104</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the State Employee Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that any person who (i) is currently a member of a reciprocal system, (ii) has rendered contractual services to a member of the General Assembly as a worker in the member's district office, and (iii) applies to the System on or before October 1, 2005 may establish creditable service for up to 6 years of those contractual services by making the required contributions. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Requires the person who wishes to establish the creditable service for contractual work to also pay the employer contribution plus interest.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
