| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| were saddened to learn of the death of David Michael Zorger of |
| 4 |
| Godfrey on June 9, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, David Michael Zorger was born on February 9, 1976, |
| 6 |
| in Columbus, Ohio; he graduated in 1994 from Marquette Catholic |
| 7 |
| High School with honors and lettered in football and baseball; |
| 8 |
| he later attended St. Louis College of Pharmacy for four years; |
| 9 |
| and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, An avid Ohio Buckeye fan and sportsman, he enjoyed |
| 11 |
| all sports, especially golf, football, and baseball; he was |
| 12 |
| employed as a bartender at Alfies in Alton; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of David Michael Zorger will be deeply |
| 14 |
| felt by many, especially his father and stepmother, Geoff and |
| 15 |
| Joyce M. Zorger; his mother and stepfather, Linda J. (Dreher) |
| 16 |
| and Roger Howenstein; his two brothers, Daniel Matthew Zorger |
| 17 |
| and fiancee, Rachael Stidham, and Shane Cole; his grandparents, |
| 18 |
| Eleanor and John Schwartz and Audrey M. and Tom Owens; other |
| 19 |
| family members; and many friends, including his longtime friend |
| 20 |
| and classmate, Patrick Bohn; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, |
| 22 |
| Ralph W. Zorger and Charles Dreher; therefore, be it
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 24 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
| 25 |
| David Michael Zorger along with all who knew and loved him and |
| 26 |
| extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends during |
| 27 |
| their time of bereavement; and be it further
|
| 28 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 29 |
