    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by changing

1-1004 as follows:

    Sec. 1-1004. Jurisdiction over Lake Michigan.
Each of the

counties bordering on Lake Michigan
has
