| AN ACT in relation to alcohol.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section
6-14 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (235 ILCS 5/6-14) (from Ch. 43, par. 129)
|

| Sec. 6-14. Retail sales on Sundays. No person shall sell at |
| 8 |
| retail any
alcoholic liquor on Sundays
unless authorized by |
| 9 |
| general ordinance or resolution of the city council,
president |
| 10 |
| and board of trustees, or county board, as the case may be;
|
| 11 |
| provided, however that the city council, president and board of |
| 12 |
| trustees,
or
county board, as the case may be, may further |
| 13 |
| restrict the permissible
hours for the sale of alcoholic |
| 14 |
| liquors under such licenses in its
political subdivision as the |
| 15 |
| public good and convenience may require.
