| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing
Section 6 as follows:
|

| Sec. 6. Treasury. No money shall be drawn from the treasury |
| 8 |
| of the
University except
by order of the board of trustees, on |
| 9 |
| warrant of the regent, drawn upon the
treasurer, and |

| countersigned by the recording secretary.
