| AN ACT concerning taxation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Telecommunications Excise Tax Act is amended |
| 5 |
| by changing
Section 1 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (35 ILCS 630/1) (from Ch. 120, par. 2001)
|

| Sec. 1. Short title; use of tax. This Article shall be |
| 8 |
| known and
may
be cited as the
"Telecommunications Excise Tax |
| 9 |
| Act". The net proceeds from the taxes
imposed by this Act shall |
| 10 |
| be used for the support of the General Revenue
Fund and |
| 11 |
| education.
