| AN ACT in relation to wildlife.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 |
| 3.1-2 as
follows:
|
| 6 |
| (520 ILCS 5/3.1-2) (from Ch. 61, par. 3.1-2)
|

| Sec. 3.1-2. Disabled veterans. Veterans who, according to |
| 8 |
| the
determination of the Veterans'
Administration as certified |
| 9 |
| by the Department of Veterans' Affairs, are
at least 10% |
| 10 |
| disabled with service-related disabilities or in receipt of
|
| 11 |
| total disability pensions may hunt any of the species protected |
| 12 |
| by Section
2.2, during any
such times, with any
such devices |
| 13 |
| and by
any
such methods that
as are permitted
by this Act, |
| 14 |
| without procuring hunting licenses, on the condition that their
|
| 15 |
| respective disabilities do not prevent them from hunting in a |
| 16 |
| manner that
which
is safe to themselves and others.
