| AN ACT concerning labor.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The One Day Rest In Seven Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 1 as
follows:
|

| Sec. 1.

| The words and phrases mentioned in this section, as used in |
| 9 |
| this Act,
and in proceedings pursuant to this Act
hereto shall, |

| unless the same
be inconsistent
with the context, be construed |
| 11 |
| as follows:
|
| 12 |
| "Employer" shall mean a person, partnership, joint stock |
| 13 |
| company or
corporation, which employs any person to work, labor |
| 14 |
| or exercise skill in
connection with the operation of any |
| 15 |
| business, industry, vocation or
occupation.
