 1        AN ACT concerning open meetings.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Open Meetings Act is  amended  by  adding
 5    Section 2.07 as follows:

 6        (5 ILCS 120/2.07 new)
 7        Sec. 2.07.  Public comment. All meetings required by this
 8    Act  to  be  public shall include no more than 30 minutes for
 9    public comment at the beginning of the meeting.
