| "Section 5. the Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding |

| Section 11-1427.5
as follows:

| (625 ILCS 5/11-1427.5 new)

| Sec. 11-1427.5. Operation of all-terrain vehicles by |

| persons under the age
of 18. A person under the age of 18 years |

| may not operate an all-terrain
vehicle unless he or she is |

| wearing a protective helmet and is under the
supervision of a |

| licensed driver 21 years of age or older.".
