 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 294

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 294 on page  4,  by
 3    replacing lines 11 through 14 with the following:
 4    "children  in  care.   Co-payments shall not be increased due
 5    solely to a change in the  methodology  for  counting  family
 6    income."; and

 7    on page 5, after line 12, by inserting the following:

 8        "Section  99.  Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
 9    September 1, 2003.".
