Provides for the judicial and nonjudicial enforcement of a foreign protection order issued by a tribunal of another state, except as otherwise provided. Provides that the State, local governmental agencies, and specified public officials and employees are immune from civil and criminal liability for a good faith act or omission arising out of the registration or enforcement of a foreign protection order or the detention or arrest of an alleged violator of a foreign protection order. Contains provisions concerning other remedies, construction, severability, and transition. Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963, Unified Code of Corrections, Code of Civil Procedure, and Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986 to conform to the Uniform Interstate Enforcement of Domestic-Violence Protection Orders Act.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
