| 1 | | AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 8-207.1 as follows:

| 6 | | (40 ILCS 5/8-207.1 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 8-207.1. To reproduce records. To have any records |
| 8 | | kept by the board photographed, microfilmed, or digitally or |
| 9 | | electronically reproduced in accordance with the Local Records |
| 10 | | Act. The photographs, microfilm, and digital and electronic |
| 11 | | reproductions shall be deemed original records and documents |
| 12 | | for all purposes, including introduction in evidence before |
| 13 | | all courts and administrative agencies.

| 14 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 15 | | becoming law. |
