SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Kurtis Ron Fowler of rural Plymouth, 
4who passed away on August 17, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Kurtis Fowler was born to Kary and Patti 
6Westerhold Fowler in Macomb on December 10, 1990; he served in 
7the U.S. Navy, where he was a member of the U.S. Navy Sea Bees 
8from 2009 to 2012; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Kurtis Fowler worked as a laborer for Nutrien Ag 
10Solutions in Macomb; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Kurtis Fowler enjoyed hunting, riding side by 
12sides, outdoor activities, and spending time with his 
13daughter; he will be remembered for his adventurous spirit; 
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Kurtis Fowler was preceded in death by his 
16father; his grandparents, Keros and Barbara Fowler and Eldon 
17and Anna Westerhold; and his uncle, Richard Fowler; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Kurtis Fowler is survived by his mother; his 
19daughter, Kaydon Rana Fowler; his sisters, Barbara (Jeremy) 
20Barclay, Michelle (Cass) Davies, and Brenda (Jason) Fowler;

1his brother, Patrick (Heather) Phillips; several aunts and 
2uncles; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, 
3be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Kurtis Ron Fowler and extend our sincere condolences to his 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Kurtis Fowler as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
