SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Guy Anderson III of Chicago, who 
4passed away on June 16, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Guy Anderson was born to Guy Anderson II and 
6Helen (Lee) Richardson in Chicago on November 8, 1949; he 
7attended Kennedy High School in Chicago; he received a degree 
8in nursing from Minnesota Southeast Tech; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Guy Anderson loved sports and listening to live 
10jazz music; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Guy Anderson enjoyed socializing and was often 
12the life of the party; he left a lasting impression on those he 
13met with his warmth, charisma, and vibrant personality; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Guy Anderson was preceded in death by his father; 
15his stepfather, Grover Richardson; his brother, David 
16Anderson; and his sister, Christal Richardson; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Guy Anderson is survived by his mother; his life 
18partner, Belinda Terry; his brothers, John (Connie) Richardson 
19and Jeff (Debbie) Richardson; his children, Victor (Jodi) 
20Anderson, Sarah (Jenny) Anderson, Nicholas (Liz) Anderson,

1Taylor (Adiel) Cardenas, and Trevon Anderson; his 
2grandchildren, Tanner, Brady, Parker, and Adiel; and several 
3nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Guy Anderson III and extend our sincere condolences to his 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Guy Anderson as an expression of our 
11deepest sympathy.
