| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of MacArthur "Mac" Fragier of |
| 4 | | Springfield, who passed away on March 24, 2023; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mac Fragier was born in Inverness, Mississippi to |
| 6 | | Jessie Sr. and Theresa (Fragier) White on July 5, 1945; he |
| 7 | | moved to Springfield in 1951 and graduated from Feitshans High |
| 8 | | School in 1964; he married Lorean "Lori" Sain on March 14, |
| 9 | | 2000; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Mac Fragier worked at AT&T as plant manager for |
| 11 | | 30 years and later owned and operated Mac's Lounge for 38 |
| 12 | | years; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Mac Fragier was a member of Masonic Temple |
| 14 | | Central Lodge #3 and Kamar Temple #56 for over 50 years; he was |
| 15 | | an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Panther Creek Country |
| 16 | | Club; he loved biking on the Rochester Trail and playing |
| 17 | | chess; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Mac Fragier was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 19 | | his granddaughters, Mya Johnson and Kionna Banks; his |
| 20 | | grandson, Aaron Johnson; his brothers, Jesse White Jr. and |
| 21 | | John White; and his sister, Edna White; and
