Provides that the Secretary of State shall issue a State Voter Identification Card to any natural person who is a registered voter in the State of Illinois and who applies for the card or the renewal of the card. Sets forth the requirements of the State Voter Identification Card. Provides that the State Voter Identification Card may be used for identification purposes in any lawful situation only by the person to whom it was issued. Provides that the State Voter Identification Card shall be provided free of charge. Provides that, no later than January 1, 2025, the Secretary of State shall make available to the public application forms for the State Voter Identification Card.
