Provides that, for taxable year 2024 and thereafter, the homestead exemption for veterans with disabilities carries over to the benefit of a deceased veteran's remarried surviving spouse as long as the surviving spouse holds the legal or beneficial title to the property and permanently resides on the property (currently, the surviving spouse is not eligible for the exemption if the spouse remarries).
