<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>430 ILCS 66/65</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>430 ILCS 66/76 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act. Provides that a concealed carry licensee who is an employee of a public or private elementary or secondary school may carry a concealed firearm into the school building, real property, and parking area under the control of the school where he or she is employed if, in addition to the training requirement to obtain a concealed carry license, he or she receives additional training from a training program established by the Illinois State Police. Provides that within 120 days after the effective date of the amendatory Act, the Illinois State Police shall establish a training program for licensees who are employees of a public or private elementary or secondary school to permit the employees to carry firearms into the school buildings where they are employed and their adjacent parking lots and real property. Provides that the Illinois State Police shall establish the training curriculum and the amount of training, which shall not exceed 48 hours, of which a maximum of 28 hours shall be firearm training. Provides that the training shall include the safe handling of firearms around children. Provides that the training must be completed annually.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
