| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Harold C. Ridnour of Milan, who passed |
| 4 | | away on November 13, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ridnour was born to Claude and Letha |
| 6 | | (Shock) Ridnour in Creston, Iowa on September 29, 1933; he |
| 7 | | served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War; he married |
| 8 | | Barbara Irish in Toledo, Iowa on December 4, 1955; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, In his younger years, Harold Ridnour and his |
| 10 | | father owned and operated Ridnour Electric in Creston; he then |
| 11 | | moved to Milan where he worked for Caterpillar until |
| 12 | | retirement, when he started a business called HESS Electrical; |
| 13 | | and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ridnour enjoyed reading, listening to |
| 15 | | music, woodworking, and collecting antique model cars; along |
| 16 | | with his wife, he loved doing genealogy, arranging family |
| 17 | | reunions, and traveling to see distant relatives; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ridnour was preceded in death by his |
| 19 | | parents; his son, Eric Scott Ridnour; and his sisters, Donna |
| 20 | | Ridnour and Sharon (Ed) Pinske; and
|
