SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Richard "Rick" Corder Sr. of Rock 
4Island, who passed away on December 11, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Corder was born to Carl and Mable 
6(Foster) Corder in Moline on March 5, 1944; he served during 
7the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Marine Corps and was 
8awarded a Purple Heart; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Richard Corder enjoyed golf and bowling; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Richard Corder was preceded in death by his 
11parents and his brother; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Richard Corder is survived by his sons, Rick 
13(Jen) Corder and Bryan Corder; his grandchildren, Jessica, 
14Brittney, Dale, and Hunter; his great-grandchildren, Jaden, 
15Jayce, Maci, and James; his sister, Karen (Dave) Schwartzkopf; 
16his brother, Kevin (Colleen) Corder; and several nieces and 
17nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Richard "Rick" Corder Sr. and extend our sincere condolences

1to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
2it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

4presented to the family of Richard Corder as an expression of

5our deepest sympathy.
