| 4 | | million in the United States, and over 250,000 in Illinois; |

| 6 | | WHEREAS, Illinois is proud of its rich cultural history |
| 7 | | and the many people who call our State home; and

| 8 | | WHEREAS, Illinois is home to a vibrant Hindu community; |

| 11 | | contributions across all fields, including science, education, |
