| 3 | | immediately below line 25, by inserting the following:

| 4 | | "Nothing in this definition shall be construed to limit |
| 5 | | action taken to protect an abused child for the purposes of |
| 6 | | preventing death, disfigurement, or other harm or damage that |
| 7 | | will be irrevocable or permanently and immediately injurious |
| 8 | | to the child's physical or mental health."; and

| 9 | | on page 11, immediately below line 1, by inserting the |
| 10 | | following: |
| 11 | | "(c) Nothing in this Section shall be construed to limit |
| 12 | | action taken to protect an abused child for the purposes of |
