<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>415 ILCS 5/42</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1042</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Makes changes to the amounts of civil penalties for specified violations. Provides that any person who fails to provide notice as required by the Act shall be liable for a civil penalty of up to $100 for the first violation and up to $500 for a second or subsequent violation. Provides that any person who engages in demolition activity in violation of the Act shall be liable for a civil penalty of up to $50,000 for the first violation and up to $250,000 for a second or subsequent violation. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
