<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>725 ILCS 5/110-6.1</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 38, par. 110-6.1</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Provides that the court may deny the defendant pretrial release if the defendant is charged with a felony and has previously been convicted of 2 or more felonies, if, at the time of the commission of the offense, the defendant was in possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device. Defines "large capacity ammunition feeding device" as: (1) a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, 30 rounds or more of ammunition; or (2) any combination of parts from which a device described in (1) can be assembled.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
