<reference>20 ILCS 2610/50 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>55 ILCS 5/3-6041 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>65 ILCS 5/11-1-15 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the State Police Act, the Counties Code, and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that an Illinois State Police officer, county sheriff, or municipal police officer may use a patrol vehicle to transport a sick or injured person if an ambulance or specialized emergency medical service vehicle is not available or on-scene, or a medical emergency exists. Exempts the Illinois State Police, county, or municipality and an Illinois State Police officer, county sheriff, or municipal police officer from liability for an act or omission in providing medical emergency transportation, unless the act or omission constitutes willful or wanton misconduct.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
