With regard to scholarships for the children of veterans, provides that, beginning with the 2022-2023 academic year, each county shall, as an alternative, be entitled, annually, to one honorary scholarship in the University for the benefit of the children of police officers or fire officers who were killed in the line of duty while employed by or in the voluntary service of this State or any local public entity in this State.
