| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Russell "Russ" Lyle Sheese of Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on July 17, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Russ Sheese was born to Lloyd and Lucille |
| 6 | | (Summers) Sheese in Buffalo Prairie on July 19, 1937; in his |
| 7 | | youth, he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball; after high |
| 8 | | school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in Japan; |
| 9 | | soon after returning to the U.S., he married the love of his |
| 10 | | life, Patricia Ranney, at the Aledo United Methodist Church on |
| 11 | | December 7, 1958; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Russ Sheese retired from the Eagle Warehouse in |
| 13 | | Milan, Illinois; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Russ Sheese was a member of the Aledo United |
| 15 | | Methodist Church and later joined Riverside Methodist Church |
| 16 | | after moving to Moline; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Russ Sheese enjoyed bowling and golfing with |
| 18 | | friends; he loved making home movies and videos and was a true |
| 19 | | family man, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Russ Sheese was preceded in death by his parents; |
