SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ronald "Ron" Anderson of Moline, who 
4passed away on November 1, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ron Anderson was born in Freeport to Ralph W. and 
6Mary (Ledbetter) Anderson on May 24, 1943; he served in the 
7U.S. Air Force and married Carolyn D. Stroebel in Glenburn, 
8North Dakota  on February 16, 1963; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Ron Anderson retired in 1994 as a sheet metal 
10supervisor from Deere & Co.; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Ron Anderson enjoyed fishing, golfing, 
12woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren and 
13great-grandson; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Ron Anderson was preceded in death by his parents; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Ron Anderson is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his 
17children, Jim (Lisa), Sharon, and Doug (Heather) Anderson; his 
18grandchildren, Josh, Tyler, Katherine, Emma, and Maddie; his 
19great-grandson, Kaiden; his sister, Patty (Lenny) Johnson; and 
20his nieces, Karen Johnson, Susan Freeman, and Nancy (Garry)

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Ronald "Ron" Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Ron Anderson as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
