SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Martin C. Weyer of Moline, who passed 
4away on October 1, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Martin Weyer was born in Moline to Dr. Charles M. 
6and Rose A. (Barry) Weyer on October 22, 1949; he served in the 
7military during the Vietnam War and married Judith "Judy" A. 
8Shober in Milton, Wisconsin on May 9, 1982; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Martin Weyer was employed by Augustana College in 
10the maintenance department; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Martin Weyer enjoyed numerous outdoor activities, 
12including bird watching, fishing, archery, and shooting 
13sports; he was a loving husband and father; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Martin Weyer was preceded in death by his parents; 
15his in-laws; and numerous aunts and uncles; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Martin Weyer is survived by his wife, Judy; his 
17son, Ben Weyer; his sisters, Diane (Dave) Smith and Eileen 
18(Tom) Cheney; and his brown schnauzer, Winston; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of  
3Martin C. Weyer and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of   Martin Weyer as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
