SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Kenneth J. "Ken" Womack of Silvis, who 
4passed away on July 29, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ken Womack was born on June 17, 1942; he served in 
6the United States Army; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ken Womack retired from John Deere as a welder; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Ken Womack enjoyed working with the kids at 
10Viscioni's Boxing Gym, including traveling to and judging the 
11matches; his hobbies were hunting, fishing, and bowling with 
12family and friends; he was loving, generous, and selfless and 
13enjoyed being a father; he will be remembered for his sense of 
14humor; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ken Womack was preceded in death by his parents; 
16his son, Darren; and his wife, Patricia; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Ken Womack is survived by his sisters, Nadine and 
18Lyndie; his three daughters; his two stepchildren; his 15 
19grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Kenneth J. "Ken" Womack and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Ken Womack as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
