SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert Monroe "Bob" Leach of Beach Park, 
4who passed away on January 4, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Leach  was born in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin to 
6Monroe and Elaine (Hendricks) Leach on February 2, 1950; he 
7graduated from Waukegan High School in 1968 and served in the 
8U.S. Air Force in Vietnam from 1968 to 1972; he married Barbara 
9Means on September 1, 2001; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Bob Leach  worked as an electrician for over  30 
11years as a member of IBEW Local 150; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Bob Leach  was preceded in death by his father, 
13Monroe,  and an infant daughter, Breanne Leach; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Bob Leach  is survived by his wife, Barbara; his 
15mother, Elaine Leach; his daughters, Anna Cornejo, Kelly (Jeff) 
16Long, and Erin and Bethany Leach; his grandchildren, Abigail, 
17Madelyn, Emma, Olivia, Quinn, and Gavin; his sister, Pam (Jim) 
18Miller; his brother, Ron (Sharon) Leach; his sister-in-law, 
19Carol (Brian) Friday; five nieces and nephews; and many 
20friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Robert Monroe "Bob" Leach and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Bob Leach  as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
