| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Sally Jeanne Koziol, who passed away on |
| 4 | | February 9, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Sally Koziol was born to Lawrence and Phyllis |
| 6 | | Lindquist on February 13, 1939; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Sally Koziol spent many years working in the |
| 8 | | Waukegan Public Schools as a secretary to the athletic director |
| 9 | | and to the dean of schools; she was a waitress at the Swedish |
| 10 | | Glee Club, the Knights of Columbus, and Ted's Log Cabin; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, In her retirement, Sally Koziol loved to play |
| 12 | | bridge, go to lunch with her friends, and spend time with her |
| 13 | | family; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Sally Koziol was preceded in death by her husband, |
| 15 | | John P. Koziol; her son, Mark J. Koziol; her parents; her |
| 16 | | brothers-in-law, Robert Epker and Walter Koziol; and her |
| 17 | | nephew, Daniel Epker; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Sally Koziol is survived by her daughters, |
| 19 | | Kimberly A. Massimo, Tamara M. Ochoa, and Debra J. (Charles) |
| 20 | | Shields; her sister, Susan A. Epker; her brother, John E. |
