| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Edward A. Heffernan, who passed away on |
| 4 | | February 14, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edward Heffernan served the 16th District of the |
| 6 | | Chicago Police Department for 38 years; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Edward Heffernan was the beloved husband of the |
| 8 | | late Carol (Gitzinger) Heffernan, the loving father of Cynthia |
| 9 | | (John) Brennan and Edward Heffernan, the proud grandfather of |
| 10 | | Ryan (Brittani) Thompson, Colin, Megan, and Kaitlyn (Danny) |
| 11 | | Head, and Connor Brennan, the proud great-grandfather of Oliver |
| 12 | | and Camryn Thompson, the dear brother of Therese (the late |
| 13 | | Jack) Tipperreiter, Patricia (the late Jack) Ciesla, Kathleen |
| 14 | | (Gary) Boubek, and the late Sally Ann (the late Dick) Kelly, |
| 15 | | and the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
