| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of William Leonard Niemi, who passed away on |
| 4 | | November 10, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, William Niemi was born on November 1, 1931; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, William Niemi served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the |
| 7 | | U.S. Army; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, William Niemi is survived by his wife of 62 years, |
| 9 | | Vera Niemi; his children, Janet (James) Sharp, Joyce (Gary) |
| 10 | | Sackman, Leonard Niemi, Jean (Tim) Craig, Richard Niemi, and |
| 11 | | Billy Niemi Jr.; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his |
| 12 | | brother, Richard Niemi; and his sister, Shirley Kangas; |
| 13 | | therefore, be it

| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | William Leonard Niemi and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 17 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 18 | | further
