| 2 | | WHEREAS, It is highly fitting that the Illinois General

| 3 | | Assembly pays honor and respect to the truly great individuals
|
| 4 | | who have served our country and, in so doing, have gone above
|
| 5 | | and beyond the call of duty in truly heroic acts; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Robert Holloway was born in Keithsburg on December |
| 7 | | 29, 1942 and served
in the U.S. Navy, achieving the rank of |
| 8 | | Petty Officer Second Class; he died while serving his country |
| 9 | | in South Vietnam on February 20, 1966; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Crose was born in Keithsburg on December |
| 11 | | 10, 1945 and served in
the U.S. Navy, achieving the rank of |
| 12 | | Petty Officer Third Class; he was killed in action while |
| 13 | | serving his country in South Vietnam on November 24, 1967; |
| 14 | | therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES |
| 17 | | CONCURRING HEREIN, that we designate 76th Street in Keithsburg |
| 18 | | from Jackson Street to IL-17 as the "PO2 Robert Holloway
and |
| 19 | | PO3 Ronald Crose Memorial Highway"; and be it further
