AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1310 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1310, AS AMENDED, 
3by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the 
4following:


 
 
5    "Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources 
6(Conservation) Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois 
7is amended  by adding Section 805-307 as follows:
 
8    (20 ILCS 805/805-307 new)
9    Sec. 805-307. Starved Rock; fees.
10    (a)  The Department may by rule implement a parking fee 
11requirement for entrance into Starved Rock State Park. Any fee 
12imposed under this subsection (a) shall not apply to residents 
13of LaSalle County. 
14    (b) Moneys collected under this Section shall be deposited 
15into the State Parks Fund with 80% of the fees collected under 
16this Section allocated for infrastructure purposes of Starved

1Rock State Park and 20% of the fees collected under this 
2Section allocated for public safety of Starved Rock State Park. 
3    (c) The Department may adopt rules necessary to implement 
4this Section. 
 
 
5    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January 
61, 2020.".
