HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Katherine 
4Delores Coleman McKinnor of Maywood, who passed away on 
5December 24, 2020; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Kathy McKinnor was born in Chicago to Delores 
7Coleman and Luther Brown on August 16, 1947; she graduated from 
8Hirsch High School in 1964; she married Al McKinnor on August 
930, 1980; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Kathy McKinnor began her career in the airline 
11industry with Eastern Airlines; she subsequently worked for 
12Continental Airlines and United Airlines until her retirement 
13in 2003; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Kathy McKinnor was deeply committed to her faith; 
15after her retirement, she became a devoted member of the 
16Illinois Prince Hall Masonic family and dedicated herself to 
17volunteerism in the community; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Kathy McKinnor was preceded in death by her 
19parents; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Kathy McKinnor is survived by her husband of over

140 years, Al; her children, Brandon (Brandi), Neitzche 
2(Petrina), Keisha, Thrishka, Rommel (Latresha), and Greshynka; 
3her sister/cousin, Odella Hampton (Johnny); her grandchildren, 
4Jonathan, Shenice, Jillian, Jason, Jibri, Jazmen, Kiara, 
5Marcus, Jayla, Jammie, Nasir, Brianna, and Bryce; her eight 
6great-grandchildren; her nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a 
7host of friends; therefore, be it
  
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
9HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
10we mourn the passing of Katherine Delores Coleman McKinnor and 
11extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all 
12who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14presented to the family of Kathy McKinnor as an expression of 
15our deepest sympathy.
