HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ramona 
4Marquitta Rouse, who passed away on January 4, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ramona Rouse was a determined woman; with two 
6children, she pursued her bachelor's degree and graduated 
7college at the age of 41; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ramona Rouse opened her own hair salon in the 
9Rogers Park neighborhood; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ramona Rouse enjoyed traveling the world and 
11listening to reggae music; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Ramona Rouse was the light of her family's lives 
13and fiercely loved and supported those around her; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Ramona Rouse instilled in her family a sense of 
15perseverance through overwhelming times; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
17HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
18we mourn the passing of Ramona Marquitta Rouse and extend our 
19sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew

1and loved her; and be it further
  
 
2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to  the family of  Ramona Rouse as an expression of our 
4deepest sympathy.
