| 2 | | WHEREAS, The Members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Abdel Raoul for his |
| 4 | | outstanding accomplishments as a young golfer and student; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Abdel Raoul has earned academic and athletic |
| 6 | | scholarships to attend Prairie View A&M University in Texas, |
| 7 | | where he will compete as a NCAA Division I golfer while |
| 8 | | studying to become a mechanical engineer; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, As a student at Mt. Carmel High School in Chicago, |
| 10 | | Abdel Raoul's skills on the golf course led him to become a |
| 11 | | 2018 Illinois High School Association state finalist; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Abdel Raoul's achievements include his title as a |
| 13 | | three-time Boys Junior Golf Champion at the Chicago Park |
| 14 | | District's Jackson Park Golf Course and his selection as the |
| 15 | | First Tee of Greater Chicago's representative to compete in a |
| 16 | | 2017 national tournament in Pebble Beach, California; |
| 17 | | therefore, be it

| 19 | | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
