| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Natalie |
| 4 | | K. Rothbart, who passed away on September 21, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart was born on January 1, 1930; and |
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart worked with her local community |
| 7 | | to establish a library district for the people of Norridge
and |
| 8 | | Harwood Heights, and, in 1974, was among the first group of |
| 9 | | trustees sworn in to
serve on the board for the newly |
| 10 | | established Eisenhower Public Library
District; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart served as trustee on the board |
| 12 | | from September 1, 1974 to
September 21, 2018; she was treasurer |
| 13 | | for her full 44 years on the board; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, In 2003, Natalie Rothbart worked to help pass a |
| 15 | | referendum
to build a new library; she was actively involved in |
| 16 | | beautifying the grounds
surrounding the new building; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart was also a dedicated lifelong |
| 18 | | volunteer for over 45 years with the Girl Scouts; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart was the beloved wife of 66 years |
