| 1 | | HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION

| 2 | | WHEREAS, During the 100th General Assembly, House Joint |
| 3 | | Resolution 59 created the Cybersecurity Task Force within the |
| 4 | | Illinois Commerce Commission to review the Joint Analysis |
| 5 | | Report from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the |
| 6 | | Federal Bureau of Investigation dated December 29, 2016 and |
| 7 | | entitled "Grizzly Steppe - Russian Malicious Cyber Activity" |
| 8 | | and develop strategies to either implement or reject the report |
| 9 | | recommendations; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The Cybersecurity Task Force was to report its |
| 11 | | findings and recommendations to the General Assembly by |
| 12 | | December 31, 2018; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, The Cybersecurity Task Force needs additional |
| 14 | | time to complete its work; therefore, be it
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 16 | | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |
| 17 | | SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Cybersecurity Task Force |
| 18 | | shall report its findings to the General Assembly as required |
| 19 | | by House Joint Resolution 59 of the 100th General Assembly no |
| 20 | | later than December 31, 2019; and be it further

| 21 | | RESOLVED, That with this extension, the Cybersecurity Task |
