<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>20 ILCS 2105/2105-405 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, in consultation with the Department of Revenue and the Secretary of State, shall conduct a study to determine the advantages and disadvantages of consolidating the permitting activities of the State with respect to for-profit firms and entities. Requires the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to consider either creating a new State agency to issue permits to for-profit firms or entities or creating an online database maintained by the Department on the Department's website that would allow a person to specify a type of business or a type of license and the website would direct the person toward a list of required licenses and specify the State agency that issues each of the required licenses. Requires the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly by February 1, 2021. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
