Provides that, beginning with the 2020-2021 school year, for an elementary school district that is designated by the State Board of Education as having a teacher shortage, each district superintendent shall receive for his or her services an annual salary of $175,000. Provides that an elementary school district may, by referendum approval of the school district's voters, provide a district superintendent a salary of more than $175,000 per year.
