<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>110 ILCS 947/40</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Higher Education Student Assistance Act. Expands the applicability of the Illinois Veteran grant program to a qualified applicant who is enrolled in a private business and vocational school in this State (rather than only to a qualified applicant who is enrolled in a State-controlled university or public community college in this State). Provides that if a qualified applicant is enrolled in a private business and vocational school in this State, he or she must, subject to the conditions of the grant program, receive a grant in an amount sufficient to pay the tuition and fees of that school for a period that is equivalent to 4 years of full-time enrollment, including summer terms. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
