SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John M. Scroggin of Waukegan, formerly of 
4Antioch, who passed away on July 24, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Scroggin was born in Highland Park to Robert 
6and Jane (Krause) Scroggin on June 20, 1957; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, John Scroggin worked as an HVAC electrical 
8technician for Abbott Laboratories for 26 years; he was a hard 
9worker and valued being a part of the Abbott family; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, John Scroggin was a proud father and supportive 
11husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, John Scroggin is survived by his wife, Jessica; 
13his children, Michelle Hicks, Amanda Pollitt, Michael Pollitt, 
14and Samantha Scroggin; his siblings, Robert Scroggin Jr., Dawn 
15Wells, and Donald Scroggin; and his grandchildren, Donovan 
16Chambers, Devon Hicks, and Michael Pollitt; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19John M. Scroggin and extend our sincere condolences to his 
20family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
