SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Larry A. Janssen of Morrison, formerly of 
4Prophetstown, who passed away on July 15, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Larry Janssen was born in Morrison to Clarence 
6"Art" and Annelle "Nell" (Rick) Janssen on December 12, 1945; 
7he married Susan M. Gruenwald at the First Lutheran Church in 
8Prophetstown on October 6, 1984; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Larry Janssen was a member of Plumbers and Pipe 
10Fitters Local Union No. 25; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Larry Janssen was an avid golfer and a member of 
12the Prophetstown Country Club; he loved raising horses and 
13riding trails; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Larry Janssen was preceded in death by his 
15parents; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Larry Janssen is survived by his wife, Susan; his 
17daughter, Jackie Lauritzen; his sons, John (Angela) Janssen, 
18Justin (Cindy) Janssen, and Luke (Jenny) Sandberg; his seven 
19grandchildren; and his sisters, Judy (Paul) Borg and Kathy 
20(Mark) Sandrock; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Larry A. Janssen and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Larry Janssen as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
