| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Thomas "Tommy" Gardiner, who passed away |
| 4 | | on January 15, 2018; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Tommy Gardiner was a veteran of the United States |
| 6 | | Navy and a 30-year member of Iron Workers Local #1; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Tommy Gardiner was the beloved husband of 25 years |
| 8 | | to Kathleen (Lally); the loving, adored father and best friend |
| 9 | | to Ann Marie, Mary Catherine, Tommy, and Michael; the dearly |
| 10 | | loved and devoted son of Mary and the late Thomas Gardiner; the |
| 11 | | much-beloved son-in-law of Tommie and Ann Lally; the cherished |
| 12 | | older brother of Mary (Steve) Tardella, Jimmy (Angela), Peggy |
| 13 | | (Marty) Heneghan, Noreen (Fernando) Rodriguez, Patricia (Pat) |
| 14 | | Lavelle, John (Lora), Brendan (Amy), Erin (Ben) Bruno, Eileen |
| 15 | | Kane, Michael (Annie), Colleen (Patrick) Walsh, and Kathleen |
