SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John F. "Jack" Zlogar Sr. of Joliet, who 
4passed away on October 23, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar was born in Joliet to John and Frances 
6Zlogar and served in the United States Navy during World War 
7II; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar retired after many years of dedicated 
9service from the Brotherhood of Local #1 Ironworkers; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar enjoyed spending time with his family 
11for holidays, birthdays, and vacations at their condo on Siesta 
12Key Beach; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar was preceded in death by his parents; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar is survived by his wife of 61 years, 
16Nancy (Smith) Zlogar; his sons, John F. (Denise) Zlogar Jr., 
17Doug (Charlene) Zlogar, and Brad (Danette Sartori) Zlogar; his 
18daughter, Sally (Bob) Bertani; his brother, Jim (Katie) Zlogar; 
19his sister, Sr. Joan Zlogar O.P.; his grandchildren, Mike, 
20Jack, Christian, and Dillon Zlogar; and numerous nieces,

1nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4John F. "Jack" Zlogar Sr., and extend our sincere condolences 
5to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Jack Zlogar as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
