| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Noel C. Boretti of Glenview, who passed |
| 4 | | away on July 24, 2017; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Noel Boretti served in the United States Navy |
| 6 | | during the Korean War and recently took part in an Honor Flight |
| 7 | | to Washington, D.C.; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Noel Boretti started the youth hockey league in |
| 9 | | Glenview and was active with the men's softball league; he was |
| 10 | | also an active member and volunteer with the Glenview Senior |
| 11 | | Center; he was an avid Chicago Bears fan; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Noel Boretti was the beloved husband of 25 years |
| 13 | | of Therese (Lynch) Boretti; the loving father of Dave (Sandy), |
| 14 | | Rick (Andrea), and Marion (Steve) Quigley; and the cherished |
| 15 | | grandfather of Nick, Tess, and Ryland Boretti and Kellen and |
| 16 | | Connor Quigley; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 | | Noel C. Boretti, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 20 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
